Why Homeshare is a critical inclusion in Federal Government policy
HANZA, calls on all political parties to commit to fund Homeshare as a cost effective approach that unlocks existing housing stock and enables older and disabled people to continue living in their own homes and communities.
Did you know that Homeshare is a proven model in its support of the elderly to remain at home?
This article by Alexis Hughes highlights this fact and its mention at the Australian Royal Commission into Aged Care Care Quality and Safety 2019. Commissioner Tracey described Homeshare as “a very useful tool to avoid the need to go into residential care”.
